FeelGreat
Terms of Use
FeelGreat helps you find a licensed therapist. It is not treatment, and we are not your provider. These terms explain that in full, and they are what you agree to at the start screen before your first search.
Effective July 26, 2026 · Acknowledgment version 2026-07-26.3
1. Who we are, and what you are agreeing to
FeelGreat is operated by FeelGuide Referrals, LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“FeelGreat,” “we,” “us”). These Terms of Use are a binding agreement between you and FeelGuide Referrals, LLC covering feelgreat.today and everything on it.
Before your first search we show you a short orientation and ask you to accept an acknowledgment. That acknowledgment incorporates these terms. If you do not agree with any part of this, please do not use the service. Reading this site is free and requires no agreement.
2. The acknowledgment, in full
This is the same text shown at the start screen, reproduced here so there is a permanent copy:
- We help you find a therapist. We are not one. FeelGreat is a search tool. We help you find a therapist and point you to them. That is all we do. We do not give therapy. We do not give medical advice. We do not tell you what is wrong or how to fix it. We are not your doctor and not your counselor.
- This is for people who do not have a therapist yet. Do you already see a therapist, a psychiatrist, or a counselor? Then please talk to them first. They know you best. We will ask you this on the last screen. If you say yes, we will stop here, and that is okay.
- Please do not tell us about your health. Do not type in what you have been told is wrong, what medicine you take, or what care you have had. Do not name any doctor or therapist you have seen. We do not need any of it. Just tell us where you live, how you want to meet, and how to reach you.
- The therapists here work for themselves. They do not work for us. We do not tell them what to do. We are not part of your visits and we do not see what happens in them. What happens between you and your therapist is between the two of you.
- A match is an idea, not a promise. We show you therapists who look like a good fit. Their license info comes from the FeelGuide network and from what they tell us about themselves. You can check any license with your state licensing board, and we hope you do. We cannot promise a therapist has time for you, takes your insurance, costs a certain amount, or that you will feel a certain way after.
- Never use this when you need help right now. Nobody is watching this site as you type. If you are in danger, or you are thinking about hurting yourself, call or text 988. You can also call 911. Do that first. Please do not wait on us.
- You are 18 or older. You are a grown-up using this for yourself. Or you are a parent or guardian using it for your child.
- If something goes wrong with a therapist, that is not on us. You agree that FeelGreat and FeelGuide Referrals, LLC are not responsible for what a therapist does, says, or advises, or for how your care turns out. A problem with a therapist is between you and them. The longer version of this is in our Terms of Use.
3. Triage and matching, not treatment
FeelGreat is an informational search and referral service. We help you understand what kind of support may fit and point you toward licensed clinicians who offer it. That is the entire service.
We do not practice medicine, psychiatry, psychology, counseling, therapy, or social work. We do not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or provide clinical advice, a clinical opinion, a screening instrument, or a crisis service. Nothing on this site is a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Using FeelGreat does not create a provider-patient, therapist-client, or professional relationship between you and us.
Our matching is automated and based on the preferences you enter and the information clinicians provide about their practices. It is a suggestion. It is not a clinical judgment about what you need.
4. Who may use FeelGreat
You may use FeelGreat only if all of the following are true:
- You are 18 or older, using it for yourself, or you are a parent or legal guardian using it for a minor in your care.
- You are located in the United States.
- You are not currently under the care of a therapist, psychiatrist, counselor, or other mental health provider. FeelGreat is a front door for people who are not yet in care. If you are in care and something is not working, the right and safest next step is to raise it with your provider, who knows your history, or to ask them about a referral or transfer. We ask you this directly at the start screen and we will stop if the answer is yes. This is a condition of use, not a suggestion.
If you tell us you are already in care, we will not show you clinicians and will not accept a consult request from you. If your care ends, you are welcome to come back.
5. Never for emergencies
Do not use FeelGreat in an emergency or a crisis. Nothing here is monitored in real time. No one reads submissions as they arrive, and no one is watching for an urgent message.
If you are in crisis, thinking about harming yourself, or anyone is in danger, call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room.
6. Do not send us medical information
FeelGreat is not a covered entity or a business associate under HIPAA, and this site is not a place to put health information. We ask you not to submit, and you agree not to submit, any of the following: diagnoses, symptoms described in clinical detail, medications, treatment history, test or assessment results, or the identity of, or anything about, a provider you have seen.
Keep what you type to logistics: your location, how you would like to meet, how you will pay, and how to reach you. If you do send clinical information anyway, you do so at your own risk and without any expectation that we will treat it as protected health information. We may delete it.
7. Clinicians are independent, and we do not endorse them
Clinicians listed on FeelGreat are surfaced from the FeelGuide clinician network. Each one is an independent professional running their own practice. They are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of FeelGreat, and we do not employ, supervise, direct, review, or take any part in the care they provide.
License and credential details come from the FeelGuide network and from what clinicians report about themselves. We make a reasonable effort to surface accurate listings, but we do not independently guarantee any clinician’s licensure, credentials, training, insurance participation, availability, fees, competence, or fitness for you. Verify licensure and standing with the relevant state licensing board before you begin care. That board, not this site, is the authority.
Appearing on FeelGreat is not an endorsement or a recommendation, and being ranked higher in your results is not a statement that a clinician is better. Any agreement you reach with a clinician, including fees, scheduling, insurance, records, and the care itself, is strictly between you and them.
8. What we ask of you
You agree that you will not:
- Give us false information, or impersonate anyone.
- Use the service to reach clinicians for anything other than a genuine request for care for yourself or a minor in your care. No marketing, recruiting, or soliciting.
- Scrape, crawl, harvest, mirror, or bulk-collect clinician listings or any part of this site, by any means, or attempt to work around the rate limits and protections that stop it.
- Interfere with the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, or try to get past the start screen by any means other than completing it.
We may suspend or refuse service to anyone at any time, including for any of the above.
9. Cost
FeelGreat is free for people looking for care. We may be compensated by clinicians or by the FeelGuide network for the service we provide them. Any fee for the care you receive is set by, disclosed by, and paid to the clinician, not to us. We do not bill insurance and we do not guarantee that any clinician participates in your plan or that any care will be covered.
10. Privacy, in brief
Our Privacy Notice explains what we collect and why. In short: your search preferences, the contact details you enter on a consult request, and a record of the acknowledgment you accepted, including the date, your IP address, and your browser. When you request a consult, we pass your contact details and note to the clinician you chose, which is the entire point of the request. After that, your relationship with them, and its privacy, is governed by their practice and their obligations, not ours.
11. No warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that listings are accurate or current, that a clinician will respond, that any clinician is a good fit for you, or that using FeelGreat will improve how you feel or lead to any particular outcome.
12. Limitation of liability and release
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FeelGreat, FeelGuide Referrals LLC, and their members, officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or emotional distress, arising out of or related to your use of the service, however caused and on any theory of liability.
We are not responsible for care. We are not liable for the acts, omissions, advice, conduct, treatment, negligence, malpractice, billing, records handling, or outcomes of any clinician or other third party you find, contact, or engage through FeelGreat. You release FeelGreat and FeelGuide Referrals, LLC from all claims, demands, and damages of every kind arising out of or connected with any dispute between you and a clinician or other third party. If you are a California resident, you waive California Civil Code section 1542, which says that a general release does not extend to claims a creditor does not know or suspect to exist at the time of the release.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service will not exceed one hundred United States dollars ($100.00), or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, whichever is greater.
Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. Where that is the case, these limits apply to the fullest extent the law allows, and nothing here limits liability for our own fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct where that limitation is prohibited.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FeelGreat and FeelGuide Referrals LLC from any claim, loss, liability, or expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the service, your breach of these terms, including the eligibility conditions in section 4 and the medical-information restriction in section 6, or your dealings with any clinician.
14. If there is a dispute
Please email support@feelgreat.today first. Most things can be sorted out directly, and we ask that you give us 30 days to try before starting any formal proceeding.
If that does not resolve it, you and we agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The arbitration will take place in Tarrant County, Texas, or by video or telephone at your election, and the arbitrator’s decision may be entered as a judgment in any court with jurisdiction.
Claims must be brought individually. You and we each waive any right to bring or participate in a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action. Either of us may still bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies, and either of us may seek injunctive relief in court to stop misuse of the service or infringement of intellectual property.
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@feelgreat.today with your name and the words “arbitration opt-out” within 30 days of first accepting these terms. Opting out does not affect any other part of these terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. For any matter not subject to arbitration, you and we consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Tarrant County, Texas.
16. Changes
We may update these terms. When we change the acknowledgment text, we also change its version number, and everyone is asked to review and accept the new version before their next search. Each acceptance we record is tied to the exact version it applied to. Continuing to use FeelGreat after a change means you accept the current version.
If any provision here is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These terms, together with the acknowledgment and the Privacy Notice, are the entire agreement between you and us about the service.
